Interfaith Ceremony venue
Looking for a venue for a 2006 Interfaith ceremony that will be so beautiful it will make me forget that I'm missing out on a church wedding. Was planning a Dec 06 wedding, but willing to move to Spring '06 if an outdoor venue will be more beautiful. A place with experience with interfaith weddings (Jewish/Catholic) preferred.

Re: Interfaith Ceremony venue
Hi, I'm a wedding officiant, but I would be glad to talk to you if you want a sounding board or suggestions. The RC/Jewish part shouldn't be too hard, and you have lots of time to work with someone who will help you make it the special event you want. Just make sure they will take the time to listen to you. Best wishes!Pastor William Britton

Re: Interfaith Ceremony venue
Hello and congratulations! There is a bittersweet tone to your post that need not be there. Believe me when I say that your wedding is going to be beautiful and amazing and the stuff little girls dreams are made of! How do I know? Because you will make it so.
My advice is don't rely on the venue so supply officiants. Many will reccomend people who don't meet, write or reherse with you. So pick your venue because it takes your breath away then find a clergy team to put the right words to that feeling. As an interfaith minister I can represent the Christian faith but not the RC Church, so although I may not be what you're looking for, the rabbi that I usually team with may fit 1/2 your needs. His name is Rabbi Eric Friedman (631-395-0006) and for a man who attended rabinical school in Israel, on Mt Zion itself, he's extremely progressive, very funny and down to earth.
So hang in there and have faith that your day will shine even brighter than you originally thought.
Yours in Faith

Re: Interfaith Ceremony venue
Hi Jennifer & Douglas,There are some wonderful Clergy on this site that can provide you with a beautiful ceremony. Just do your homework and let your feelings do the rest. Perhaps I can help. Please look at my site, then if you like what you see, email me the reservation form, (no obligation of course) and then I'll forward to you a copy of a letter that I received just today that may even make you cry. Oh, I forgot to tell you I only perform ceremonies at beautiful places like luxury yachts, beautiful waterview facilities or on white sandy beaches....your choice. I'm a Captain and an 'Ordained Chaplain' and I specialize in Interfaith Marriages. Come to think of it, I'm really one of a kind.
Whatever you decide, all the best to you and Doug.

Re: Interfaith Ceremony venue
Thanks for all of your help. I don't really want to have venur supplied officiants. i'm just looking for a place that will have a fairy-tale setting, and I'd also like to choose my own caring, concerned officiants. Thanks for your help. I will be visiting your websites, etc.
