Hi - we are an interfaith couple - I'm Jewish - he's Christian...need advice/help finding interfaith clergy - rabbi/minister, cantor/minister, etc.

Hi, I'm an ordained Christian minister. I've started a busineess/ ministry this year where I do (mostly) catered weddings. It can be as religious or non-religious as you'd like. My goal is that the ceremony will reflect your personalities and desires – and that you will be pleased. Hello and congratulations to you and your beloved! Interfaith ceremonies are wonderful! You get the best of both worlds and the opportunity to add something of yourselves. There are quite a few ways to do this. What you choose will undoubtedly be like a recipe where you decide how much of each spice tastes best to the both of you, and is right to be served to your family and friends.

There is an example of an interfaith ceremony on my website http://www.churchofancientways.org if you'd like to take a peek at how another couple chose to do theirs. They had Rabbi Friedman and myself take turns with him a little more traditional and me speaking more of the sacred place where souls touch.

I also suggest that you speak with and or meet more than one person. We all have our own style, so make sure that you choose clergy that fits as well as your dress does.

Channel 13 had a program last week 'Cantors Faith in Song' that will be on again the 28th at 2pm. (I know this because I really wanted to see it but missed it the 1st time) If you are thinking about using a Cantor it might be something you'd like to watch.
