interfaith weddings
so I found out today that we have a slight problem. Im catholic and FH is jewish, we were planning on getting married at the interfaith chapel at cw post. When i called them today the lady informed me that they only book 9 months prior bc the chapel is mostly used for the campus student groups and campus events. She said they need to keep it open for the campus and i asked if its used often and she said yes its heavily used. I then asked if its open during the winter break and she said no it wouldnt be avalible during breaks because the campus is closed!!What do I do???
I didnt want to get married at the RH, my father said the one thing he wants is for me to get married in a place where he can walk me down the aisle
Does anyone have any ideas where we can have an interfaith ceremony...someplace with an indoors option due to the weather concerns

Re: interfaith weddings
Please don't think of this as a problem... You can have an Interfaith ceremony anywhere you like. All you need is an Interfaith Officiant or a Minister Rabi team. This may actually be a good thing as there are many beautiful locations on Long Island. Have you picked your reception venue yet? This will play into your choice of ceremony location. But if you were originally thinking Post....Coe Hall at the Planting Fields

The Bailey

Old Westbury Gardens

(I don't think the Mansion is an option but they tent outside)
Nassau County Museum of Art

And I think even deSeversky as a ceremony only option

Your request wasn't exactly for an officiant so I'm not going to give you a sales pitch but my website has many samples of Catholic and Jewish ceremonies.
