Invitations

Invitations

Hi, I have a quick question. How long does it take for invitations to come in. I've heard that standard is three months, but Im not sure. Does it depend on where you order them? Thanks!

It depends on which company is printing your invitations. Some of the companys I deal with deliver within 1-2 weeks. Other take longer and of course custom handmade invitations take the longest.
I usually suggest to the brides I work with that they order their invitations as soon as they have finalized their plans (church and reception time, etc). This way they do not have to rush to address them or they have extra time for their calligrapher, if they are having one.

Best wishes,

Turnaround time on Invitations can vary depending
on the actual manufacturer and the simplicity or complexity of the invitation
(i.e. hand-layered, overlays, bows, hand-lettered)--

Generally, the quickest turnaround time would be about a week and the longest would be around 3 months. You want to order about 6 to 8 months
prior to your wedding date, if possible--

Good Luck!!
