We are making our list and we weren't sure about the rules on inviting People with Guests. We wants our wedding party to be able to bring guests, but not all the single people invited. We are on a tight budget and trying to minimize the number of people. Please let me know what everyone is doing, so we don't offend our guests. thanks!

My name is Jennifer, and I am the Event Coordinator for In The Mix D.J. Service. I speak to brides every day, and from what they tell me, guests can be a tricky thing. Mostly i've seen, and been told that if you can, try to ask which guests have boyfriends/girlfriends, and invite as many of them as possible. Many relatives get offended if they are invited alone, and they have significant others. I'd ask them, it will work out better in the long run for you. You should not have to invite your single friends with a guest, because weddings are the best places to meet someone, and to pay for a person's meal, who is just a guests friend or acquaintance is not necessary.
