I'll also need a coach bus (50 people) for an hour to bring my guests from church to reception. I haven't started calling yet, but what can I expect would be a fair price to pay for a January 2003 wedding?

Usally a coach bus 48 pass runs $850.00 to $1100. + a gratuity.

check out ultra express coach. they are on of the vendors on this site. we didn't use them, but i talked with them and they were very friendly and had the best prices by far that i found.

while we are on this topic--how much would you pay for a bus to bring about 20 people to the reception and home from the reception--not to wait around---just a ride there and a ride home---how would you book something like this?

I think that most places have a 3 or four hour minimum.
So you'd either have to hire 2 buses for 4 hours each or hire one for the duration of your reception.
The best rate I've gotten so far on a 55 pass. coach is $495 for 8 hours. Some places want upwards of $675 for half the amount of time. That's for 50 passengers. I assume it would be less if you only need something for 20 people.
I was originally going to book the bus to bring the guests there, but for that price, I might as well keep it there and bring them back into the city. I'm still shopping around, but I think this is the best rate I've heard on the Coach for my guests. Haven't started looking into the luxury coach for the bridal party yet.
