Make-up HELP!!!!!!!

Make-up HELP!!!!!!!

I just went for a make-up trial and loved the way the woman did my make-up. My only concern though is the lipstick. I had asked her if she uses a 'sealer' for the lips (as my friend who are already married mentioned that they had one) to make it last/not come off all night. She said that there is no such thing and she used a lip gloss over my lipstick.

I do have to admit, that the lipstick did stay on pretty well, but the gloss was very sticky and my hair kept getting stuck in it. The lipstick also came off on my FH when I kissed him. I DO not want this to happen!

Are there lipstick sealers that will keep my lipstick on better and not come off when I kiss my FH (or any other guest hello)? Is she right?

My friend swears that her make-up artist had used a sealer that was really cold on the lips, but worked incredibly! I would use her, but she is not in this state.

Please Help

Jaqueline Nicole uses a sealer- it is also a gloss. They have that stuff out on the market. I am sure movie stars use some type of sealer also. Make sure to purchase your lipstick and liner. You will need to touch up during the day/night.

There is a Sealer... i have used it myself plenty of times.,. they sell it at clear skin in W. Hempstead... but call them before you go over there cause they sell it out pretty quickly...

Re: Make-up HELP!!!!!!!

Hi Kelly, I sell a lip sealant in my line. You can use it over any lipstick. I recommend using a gloss for you pics before the cermony. A lipgloss looks great in photos but it will move. I find the gloss doesn't look as shiny once the sealant is applied so apply the sealant right before your cermony. . This way your photos will look great and your man won't be wearing it. The more emolient a lipstick/gloss the less wearability. Good luck and feel free to contact me with any questions!

Re: Make-up HELP!!!!!!!

Dear Kelly,

I suggest a sealent called she-laq by Benefit. You can use it on your eyeliner, eyelashes and lips to lock in the color all day long. You can purchase it in the Department stores at the Benefit counter or Sephora. You can also try www.benefit.com. If you are anywhere near Whalt Whitman mall they have a Benefit counter in Bloomingdale's. I reccommend putting a drop of gloss over it (not too much) so it doesn't look too matte. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions.

Sincerely,
Jacqueline Nicole
