I just replied to Debbie and mentioned to her that you can start florist shopping 8 to 6 months before and you can book a florist between 6 & 3 months before the wedding. If it's a busy florist or popular month to get married you may want to book earlier to make sure you have your day guaranteed. As far as what flowers you can use with navy? My girlfriend used Irises and they were lovely. Very stunning, elegant and different from anything else I've seen out there. Good luck to you.
