Menu options ON the invitation???

Please don't ask me why in the world this is becoming my problem, but my FSIL is trying to order invitations for my shower and seems to be having issues! Apparently, they have to order the meals before the day of the shower, so they want people to RSVP AND tell them what they want for lunch. How can they ask people what they want for lunch on the invitatioon without it looking tacky??? Suggestions PLEASE!!

I would probably suggest using a response card instead of a phone number rsvp. It does not have to be fancy-just something simple that matches the invitation and they could check off what they would like.

Otherwise, I guess at the bottom of the invite under the rsvp & number maybe they could do this:

R.S.V.P. by June 15th to Mary
(631)555-1220
Let us know what you would like for lunch!
Chicken, Beef or Filet

I have never done this before, but I guess it would work!

I feel bad that you were involved in your own shower!! Tell her to call me with any problems, I'm happy to help!!

Here's a quick & easy solution: have them insert an rsvp card with meal options on it- they can either send it back or call in/email in their choice to the designated rsvp contact.
