in mineola - not a common place for weddings as they only advertise by word of mouth (signet caterers). I have found several people who had weddings there with mixed-favorable reviews. Has anyone provided services for a wedding there, and if so, do you have any advice or comments, thanks.

You should only hire music from a company that has worked there.You have to be careful of the acoustics.The first time I performed there it was difficult. I have a sophisticated sound analysis computer. Either band or DJ can be done beautifuly if it is a performer familiar with the special acoustic needs.

We have photographed a number of weddings at Nassau County Bar Association and have not encountered any problems. Staff was very accomodating and pleasant. I don't know what kind of mixed reviews you received, but every bride has different tastes, so you may want to find out what specific negative feedback you heard about.

I think you will be fine at the Nassau County Bar Association as far as music goes. Everyone at the establishment was very helpful and easy going. Maybe they recently made some changes as far as the sound goes, we just played there in March and we thought the acoustics sounded great. Good luck!
