My fiance` and I have been engaged since November and we still have no clue as to what kind of wedding we will have. Money is tight because we both have teenagers to support. I had a large wedding the first time around (he did too) and this time around, we would love to have something very intimate,very romantic yet elegant. I do not want anything tacky just because we are on a budget. I have been divorced for 15 years and I would like this wedding to be very special. I would love to hear from as many people as possible. How many guests do you plan on having? If less then 100, have you seen the posting below marked 'weddidng on a cruise ship'
It does provide a romantic setting and certainly rivals anything that a resturant or catering hall would offer.
For her second wedding my mother used a nice restaurant, and they did a good job. Even though we were in a different room from the other patrons, we still knew that it was a restaurant.

Our gardens and fountain make a beautiful backdrop for an outdoor ceremony. If you want something that is non-traditional, consider a brunch or a buffet with mimosas, blood marys, champagne, wine and strawberry daiquiris. This type of menu and bar would be less expensive than a traditional five hour reception with an open bar. When my husband and I got married (his second), we exchanged our vows on a lake. We had a reverend officiating and just our best friends and immediate family present. We had our pictures taken with and without family after the ceremony. We then had a nice dinner at a restaurant nearby. I have never regretted the simple, yet elegant and romantic day we had.
