New Zealand Honeymoon ?

FH and I are trying to figure out if we can afford a New Zealand honeymoon. For a while we thought we couldn't simply because of the airfare... Now we found out that my uncle can get us buddy passes through Delta for wherever we want to go...so I'm trying to figure out if there's some way we can afford it. I'm not sure how long we should stay in order to make it affordable/worth it (considering how long the flight is, etc.) We're hoping to fly into Auckland- sometime in July. We are both fans of adventure/fantasy shows/etc. (big dorks). Does anyone have any recommendations for packages or accomodations?/etc...

We are actually getting married February 19th, and I would love to be able to take the honeymoon then. However, we'd only have February 20th-27th off from school...unless we could possibly request another day or two off...again, I don't know if things are significantly more expensive that time of year or how much time we'd need to recover from jetlag, etc.

Any advice at all is greatly appreciated!
