Officiant

Officiant

Looking for someone to officiate our 6/23/06 ceremony at East Wind. Not an interfaith or too spiritual. Some personal and catholic touches. Not sure how to go about 'hiring' someone for the Big Day.

TIA!

Re: Officiant

Hello and congratulations!

May I suggest that you try to think of what is important to you and your FH, and then make a few phone calls. There are many good officiants these days, and everyone will be nice to you, but finding the right one is the trick. We all have our own style and flair! This is why calling 3 or 4 to chat is worth while, before scheduling a meeting.

There are many many elements that fall under the category of Catholic touches, some make a stronger statement than others. Balance and proportions will set the tone of the ceremony.

When you said personal parts this can mean more than picking vows and readings. Do you want someone willing to write for you and or help you write for yourselves?

I am available on your date so feel free to contact me if you would like.

May you have the wedding of your dreams with many healthy happy years to follow.
