Hi can anyone recommend an officiant who is upbeat - while we want a traditional ceremony, we don't want a boring one so we're looking for someone who has a lot of energy. Thanks!

Re: Officiant
Hi and congratulations on your first post!
There are many good officiants and most of us do have personality . The trick these days is finding the right one for you, the one who you fit best with. Most of us can make them laugh and cry in the 20 minutes or so we speak for. The important part is to do all that and still help you make promises that will matter in 30 years.
I am available on your day and would love to talk to you about your ceremony.
I have quite a few brides on the boards, reviews, and I think there is even some video from the 2005 and 2007 LIW Wedding of The Year at: http://www.theweddingoftheyear.com/index.html
Please feel free to call me any time.
Wishing you both many healthy years of love and marriage, wisdom and wonder.

P.S. – Did you know: Did you ever ask yourself where certain wedding traditions originated from? For example: Why do brides wear white dresses? The white dress was originated in the late part of 1840 when the Queen of England at the time; Queen Victoria wore a beautiful and elegant white gown to her very own wedding ceremony. The color white was said at the time to represent purity, affluence and virginity. These were valuable assets to suitors in quest for the perfect bride.
