Hi, I'm looking for quotes for an officiant for July 4, 2008. We're not looking for a religious ceremony or strictly a civil ceremony, but something spiritual and meaningful. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks!

Hi and Congratulations!

Spiritual and meaningful.... Yet in a civil ceremony. Believe it or not it's easy. I'm always happy to talk about why my couples love one another, how they inspire one another & what 'marriage' really means to them than I am spewing about marriage as a general concept.

For the spiritual side it is hard not to see love itself and the connection that 2 people share as being a sacred thing. Love and marriage join you in something larger than yourselves. The connection to community is great for civil ceremonies as well. Who you each are now is a gift from every encounter you have had in the past that foreshadows the future.
