Pedestals

I was quoted at $75 for spiral pedestals with votive candles and 2 dozen roses.

From a few places i have called which were all more money they have said that i would be getting poor quality flowers for that price.

Is this true or are they trying to scare me out of using this florist? I think the florists work was great and he has a great rep as well as being an liweddings vendor I am not scared to use him i really just wanted to shop around and make sure I was getting the best deal.

I don't think the quality would be poor at all! For my wedding, four years ago, I used a florist that did not advertise, they went by word of mouth alone and they are extremely popular. This was how they were able to cut their prices. I paid $75 for the same thing and my flowers were amazing. People comment on them whenever they see my pictures. I do believe that you get what you pay for, however, some businesses expect a much higher profit for weddings which can make them unaffordable. Ask around for others who may have used them to get opinions. I think you would get beautiful flowers, especially if they are a LIWeddings vendor. And they will be affordable. Good luck!

I'm using pedestals as well for my wedding in August. I thought they did nice work and they know my hall very well (my hall suggested them as well), so I say don't worry about it. The spiral thing is premade and they can use it again and again, so that's maybe why it's so cheap.
