We are having a small wedding ceremony and reception at La Grange Inn. I would like to have some pictures taken of the ceremony, and then some posed family pictures in the lobby before the reception (during the cocktail hour). That is all I am looking for. This is a second wedding for both of us and we are not looking for any albums or video, just some ceremony pictures and some family. I keep reading about all the girls who are spending thousands of dollars. My whole wedding is costing less than some of the photographers fees. Anyone out there that offers a very scaled down package like this? Or am I better off with just have family take the pictures. Thanks

Re: Photographer
Mark Kauffman might be able to let you hire one of his photographers on an hourly rate. I think he does that.
I would caution you that letting a friend take your photos is very chancey. Photos are the one thing that you will always keep to remember the wedding. Non-professional cameras do not take the same photos. And most non-professionals will not know how to pose the shots or work with the lighting. Plus your friend could mess up the shots in a zillion other ways. Stick to a professiona.

Re: Photographer
Yes, thank you Michelle. We absolutely CAN do an hourly rate for an hour or two or three. Whatever is appropriate for your particular circumstances.

Re: Photographer
Thank you, I will be in touch once we set the date for sure. Looks like we are postponing our 11/30 date due to immigration delays (Fiance is from Scotland).
