Okay, I have an appointment with Queens Bridal Center tonight. I was wondering If any of you have been there (in Lindenhurst) , the yhave a Photographer there. He also told me to get all my pricing together. Honestly i havent looked at many photographers. we are definataly trying to budget.. I was hoping some of you could inform me as to what your paying for photography so maybe i have some clue, thanks in advance

Queens Bridal Center is the Photography company that we work with, and one of our offices is even shared with them in Mineola. They are excellent, and affordable, so when you go if you tell them what you are looking to spend they will tell you what you are able to get for that, and you can always add on from there. Also if you tell them that Jennifer from In The Mix sent you, you will get a discount. Another good thing about using a photographer that is affiliated with a entertainment company, is that you will get a discount if you use both companies. It simply depends on how important each vendor is to you. You must weigh priorities as to how generic vs, how personalized vs. how stylized vs. how cutting edge you want to be.

You can find photography for anywhere from around $1000 to $15,000. What are you looking for? What is important to you? You can buy transportation (car that runs) for anywhere from a few hundred dollars to a few hundred thousand. Most people consider $15,000-$30,000 to be average for a new car.
One photographer or two? One camera or ten? Color or black + white and color? 200 proofs or 1200? 36 8x10s in an album or 150 pictures in 100 mixed pages? The same photography as everyone else or unique coverage to fit your personalities and your event?
These are the questions that you need to resolve before you decide what pricing is reasonable.
If photography is important to you, then you should certainly cover the spectrum of choices available before making a decision. Good luck!

We don't offer a few packages, we offer over 100. This means we have photographed weddings from $600 to $10,000. Average is between $2000-$3000, but of course you can get less or more. It's always custom...get what you really want and need and can afford, but consider all of the variableS and choices before deciding.You are deciding on a family heirloom that is being created for a lifetime. MOST PEOPLE TEND TO SPEND A LITTLE MORE THAN THEY PLANNNED BUT NOT LESS THAN THEY SHOULD. Let us know if we can help you with this decision !
