Photography Question

Hi,
I'm thinking of buying an ivory colored wedding dress. However I'm concerned about how this color dress will look in photographs. Also, I've been told that my husband and groomsmen should not wear a white shirt. Is this true? Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Photography Question

Hi Liz:

Your dress will look the way it looks in real life. If it is ivory it will look ivory in photos. I would not put the groom in a snow white tuxedo shirt because it will appear different than your dress. I, just personally don't like the look of an ivory dress next to a man in a white shirt. But that should not be a problem as tuxedo shirts come in all different colors now, and my husband even owns an ivory or cream colored one so I would just match the groom to your dress. Its kind of the same way for flowers. Some brides don't mind ivory roses against a white dress and others don't like it and therefore, choose colored flowers. Its just a matter of preference. But as far as photography goes, it will look exactly like it does with your eyes. Hope this helps.
