Hi Sabrina,

Sometimes photographers and album makers use the same word to describe different things.

I suggest you ask the photographer you met with to clarify the terminology.

I have a feeling the digital package was for a digital designer album.

Many brides use packages as a basis to compare photographers. I think this is a bad way to compare because the quality of the photos, the personality of the photographer, the turnaround times and the quality of the albums and prints will not be identical. I recently viewed a few albums from a photographer with high-end prices. Unfortunately the photographer used the lowest-priced album maker in town and it showed. The materials and craftsmanship were clearly below average. I had the same album maker approach me a while back and sent them packing : ).

All else being equal, the best way to decide is based upon which photographer has the photos you like best and if they're within your budget.

Good luck.

Cheers,

Dan
