Prettty sad how you cannot get a truthful response from a vendor!!!!

It may not be about reticence to provide a 'truthful' response.

Perhaps the reason for lack of response may be because not all of us may have worked at both of the venues in question. I've never experienced Russo's so it wouldn't be possible for me to compare it to OHEKA. I believe you asked for a comparison of the two.

Other vendors may not have replied for the same reason. I'll speak for myself when I say that I only respond if I think that by doing so, I will be able to contribute in a meaningful way.

BTW, the post count may also be effected by Bride's reading your question, not necessarily exclusively vendors.

I'm sorry you did not get the response you were looking for but, I have to agree with the other vendors - I do not have personal experience so I will not respond, not truthful would be making something up.

I provide invites and favors so I do not usually go to the halls.

You may want to ask the Newlyweds what their experiences were in both places during their weddings.

I never saw the original questions. I also only respond when I can be truthful, nor do I want to sound as though I am soliciting business. I respond when I have a personal opinion that may be able to help someone.

If the question is, do you prefer Russo's on the Bay or Oheka Castle, I would say Russo's. The Castle is beautiful, but nothing compares to the food at Russo's, and very high class there as well! Good luck!

Having read your post, I didn't respond because I know nothing about the wedding venues you mention. We offer accomodation on the East End, so do not get involved with the wedding ceremony or reception itself. I think Theresa's suggestion to ask the other brides rather than the vendors is a good one.
