Question for hair stylist

I'm in a wedding on November 14, 5 minutes from my home in Brooklyn. If I get my hair done on Saturday and its done tight, would it stay in my hair good when I sleep. I have to be at the hall at 9:30 for pictures. The best time for me to get the hair done would be late Saturday.
