I am meeting with a photographer and videographer later this week. I have seen proofs/albums from 4 seperate weddings they have done, and am very impressed. My fiance and I decided that we are going to book them, but before we jump in we want to know what to expect, or what to ask really. Please guide me. I know the basics, how many proofs, how many hours, how big is my album, and parents album, cost of extra pics if wanted, keep my proofs. Does anyone know any other important questions to ask.\ Thanks for the help!!

Re: QUestions for pics/vidoe?
Hi Melanie,
Here are some suggestions. Hope they help
What’s your primary style. What kind of input can we have on the direction of the shots? Can we give you a shot list to work from?
How many weddings have you photographed before? How many similar to the size and formality of our wedding?
What kind of equipment will you bring with you? How intrusive will lighting, tripods, etc. be?
Do you develop your own film?
Can we buy the negatives from you?
After you’ve asked these questions of the photographer, there are several questions you’ll want to ask yourself: Do I like this person? Do I get along with them/get a good feeling from them?
Do I like their work? Is it well lit, focused, well framed? Looking at their books, do I feel like I have a good feeling for the wedding?
