Reception Hall...Holiday Weekend Discounts?
This question is for all reception hall vendors...
My best friend recently got engaged, and is considering a July 4th weekend wedding in 2006. She thinks that she will be offered a discount b/c it is a holiday weekend.
I've tried to explain to her that discounts wouldn't typically be offered a year in advance...that most places will only offer holiday weekend discounts if they are last-minute bookings.
What is the policy at your reception venue?
