More than 75% of our guests will be coming in from out of town, so we want to have a big rehersal dinner & invite everyone the night before the wedding. We'd probably have almost 100 people at the rehersal dinner -- but we can't afford to spend a fortune. Is anyone else doing something like this? If so, where? Thanks so much.

Captain Bill's in Bay Shore has great food and is large enough to hold that number of guests.
It's by the water which makes it nice in the summer months. Anywhere you go, you will be spending alot of money for 100 people.

You may want to consider renting out a knights of columbus or something along those lines. You can have it catered with some hot dishes and a hero for a reasonable price. You can even cook some of your own dishes. Another great thing is most of these places don't rush you so you can enjoy your family and friends. There is one downfall, you have to set it up and do more work shortly before your wedding.
