Renaissance hair needed

Any salons out there (Nassau, Garden City area) know how to do good hair braiding? I'm in a wedding on 5/27 that is a renaissance theme. The bride wants the bridesmaids to have their hair half up/half down with two braids in the front that will come to meet in the back. Any advise would be much appreciated. I also need makeup so any salons that would do both would be great.
