Renting Chairs?
Hi - I'm looking for some info on possibly renting 'ballroom chairs.' I booked my hall back in June. It was undergoing renovations - which were supposed to be completed by July. My wedding is 12/1 - so I thought I was 'safe.' Well - thankfully most things have been done - but the new chairs that the caterer said were on order still have not come in. The existing chairs are old - and a dark maroon color that I will not be happy with. The caterer has offered to have them covered - but the chair covers I've seen there also look old - and I REALLY don't like that look. (I made that clear to the caterer when we were first looking at the hall.) So - I have two questions: 1) Does anybody have a suggestion on where I might rent chairs - and how much they would cost? (We're having close to 300 guests.) - and - 2) Do you think it would be appropriate to ask the caterer to help with the cost? Thanks for the help!
