It sounds like you had a wonderful wedding celebration! I wouldn't re-stage the event. When you look at your photos years from now and re-live the memories you probably won't think twice about the weather. The weather created no detriment to the wonderful times shared by you and the people with whom you chose to spend this joyous occasion!

I also offer that guarantee, yet only one couple has ever taken me up on it. The truth is, although it was a hassle they ended up with nice outdoor pictures that they included in their album. If you are unhappy with your pictures, you might always be unhappy and remember just the rain! If you restage outdoor pictures, you might be happy that you did. The expense and time will disappear when the album is done. The only question is, how upset are you?

I would consider going all out and restaging the pictures. My cousin had rain for her wedding, and did not retake them in wedding attire, but in ordinary clothes, and she always says that she should have gone all out and just done it. Your wedding will only happen once, and pictures are very important, plus it might be fun to get all dressed up again. The expense will probably fade once you see how beautiful your album looks, and then it'll definitly have been worth it. Good luck whatever you do.

We have done many re-shoots because of rain.
If you are still romantic and really care about special photographs at this time in your life,
you have a golden opportunity. You not only can choose location, weather, etc., but have the opportunity to do photography ordinarily not possible on the wedding day because of time restraints. Photographically and romantically, your opportunity is spectacular and endless. Go for it ! Many years from now you will be glad that you did !
