I'd like to pick your collective brains one more time.We just visited the Riviera at Massapequa, and really liked it alot. The views were beautiful, and the facility very nice. I'm concerned about the food.
If anyone has been there, and can comment on the food, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks for any info you can give.

I've done a few weddings there and the food was fine. The service has been excellent as well, and their staff has always been cooperative from the entertainers perspective. Most caterers do have an opportunity for prospective clients to attend an 'open house' or 'tasting' where you can sample the offerings.

I've always had positive feedback. Don't recall any negatives. It's hard to find extraordinary food for 100+ people. If you like the setting, go for it.

Hi,
We work there quite often, and the guys always say that the food is very good, and they are some of the best critics because they eat at differnt places every day of the weekend, each weekend. I would also suggest going to a tasting there, so you can see for yourselves. Good luck with all of your wedding planning, hoped this helped a little.

An additional thing you should consider for the Riviera - You should only use a band or dj that is familiar with the room. The sound where the music (band or dj) performs is different from what the guests hear.I have a sound analysis computer and I have the sound curve of the Riviera in my computer banks. This has been a tremendous help for my band in eliminating volume and microphone feed back problems in the room.I was interviewed on channel 12 (News 12) television last November and this is one of the topics I spoke about.
