Set up Appointments

I already put a deposit down for my vendors through my venue. The only vendor to contact me so far is my florist and that was over the Summer! When should I expect to hear from the photographer, videographer, DJ, limo company etc? Should I call my venue and look into this? I just don't know how far in advance things are supposed to be done! I would like the sooner the better!

You should be clear at every point in your planning where things stand. You should contact your venue and ask them to clarify exactly when you should expect to hear from each vendor.
