thanks for the waterfront reception locations recoomendations. We visited MBYC this weekend. Beautiful view, but too small. The Sewanakah YC was GORGEOUS, but the room would never hold 200 and the womens bathroom facilities are located upstairs (not convenient for the older folks) We also checked out the Bay Club in Huntington Bay again. We loved the view and the interior. The Banquet Manager said that they could set up an indoor/outdoor wedding (half inside and half on the patio) We plan on visiting the Bay Club again in May to view the property when it is set up for a wedding.

I was told that the Southward Ho Country Club is very small. Never visited the site, so no basis for judgement then what I was told. In regards to De Seversky, someone mentioned that their prices are outrageuos --> $190pp. I did a search on the internet for the site, but the info was limited. So, the search continues! The Bay Club is definely #1 in the runing right now. Have you ever attended a wedding or played there?

BTW - I was in a wedding last July and the reception was held at Oheka (your band). Great time and very impressed w/ the band. It was BC`s wedding to JD (Northport) on July 27th. There is someone that I work w/ that is in a band, so I think we are covered in that area.

My personal band has performed for many weddings at the Bay Club-the Bay Club does a nice job and the food is good-the view is spectacular.A band sounds diffrent in each location due to the acoustics of the rooms.I have a sophisticated sound analysis computer-this enables me to provide consistantly perfect sound-eliminates microphone feed back and harsh qualities.
