Try The Stony Brook University Graduate school of music. Ask for Linda Sinaian. I've worked with her many times.

Violinists can be very lovely, yet very costly. I would definitly consider going to a local music school near you, and asking them if any of their teachers(who are all professionals) would do a wedding. They would be much less costly, yet still wonderful. Good luck with all of your wedding planning. If you need any more help you can email me [email protected]

My office provides strolling violinists. It is a beautiful touch. The benefit is that they are constantly walking around- so everyone can hear them. They accept requests from guests and the music can be customized to your wishes. One bride at the Fox Hollow wanted the violinists to play the music of the Walt Disney movies for her cocktail hour. The music of Broadway Shows as well as any ethnic music such as Irish, Italian etc. is a great idea. You can also request songs important to your parents and relatives to be played. Please visit my website http://www.stanwiest.com and look under Specialty Entertainment for additional ideas.Let me know if I can help you.
