timeline to start booking?

we are getting married in july 2005. we have booked our reception hall already and we want to know when we should start booking the officiants, florist, band, photographer, makeup, and hair?

As far as Makeup and Hair is concerned the normal booking for a bride is about 3-6 months in advance. Some makeup artists including myself will book up to 1 year in advance. I try not to book more than that but there are exceptions. I hope this will help in planning your wedding!

Hi Dawn,
You should get a ceremony site(church), if this is not an issue then you can wait on an official and go straight to Bands, the best book right away(14- 18 months in advance)! Also my favorite Photography and Video, we get shoppers at about 15 months prior and book all the way up untill the last minute! Then you get your official, flowers and limo. Don't forget when ordering your dress to avoid unwanted stress and tell them your wedding is ONE month prior to the actual date!
