Wedding Co-ordinator or not

We are getting married next year june...it wont be a big wedding (20 guest) as I am still in school (career change). School is very stressfull but I still want my wedding day to be memorable and elegant, down to the wedding favors for my guests. Cost is not a factor at this point, just wondering if I should hire a co-ordinator or is it even necessary.
