wedding coordinator

Hi everyone! I am posting on this board b/c I am looking to see if anyone has any employment opportunites working in the wedding field. I currently work with the coast guard working as a public relations specialist and administrative assistant.I am looking for a position as a wedding coordinator assistant or in a wedding specialty shop. I have worked as an event planning assitant before at a local reception hall in queens new york. i majored in Communications at St. Joh's University. I am looking to work in New York City, Queens, or anyplace in LI that I can get to by public transportation. If you have any information please FM me. Thank you.
