Oaky, so I am in a little bit of a sticky situation here and I hope some of you wonderful bridal salon owners out there can help me. I am getting married June 10, 2006. I just recently found out that I am pregnant and due this December. My question is, would it be better for me to order my gown now, or wait until January of next year? I don't want to cut myself too short on time by waiting, but I know I would have to wait until Jan/Feb to even start having the alterations done if I ordered it now. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Re: Wedding Gown help
Congratulations on all your upcoming events. You have many choices regarding gowns and the salon you will be ordering from. Make sure that you have choosen your store of purchase on the earlier side and have them figure out when is the best time to order. I found that some stores may encourage you to order immendiatly as not to loose your sale. I would make sure the establishment is flexible and respectful of your situation. A good tailor can make adjustments to your fit , speak to their seamstress before you commit to buying a dress from them. If you have any problems with your fittings (our tailor is top noch!!!) or need your gown freshened up for your day big give us call.
