check out what i made for my cousins babyshower next week
so my mother, SIL, aunt and I are going upstate next weekend for my cousins babyshower. we all pitched in for clothes and I decided to (once again) make a clothesline gift.
I've never made one this big... it took forever.. I didn't think to hang the rope until about halfway done.![]()
but i think i did a pretty damn good job!
The clothes/blankets/stuffed monkey
another angle
finally hung it up (panoramic view) it went from my dining room around to my livingroom... which isn't as small as it looks in the pic.
and FINALLY FINISHED!
I tied the string to the monkey, so when she picks it up it'll start pulling the rope. and i wrapped it around it so it looks like it got into something. it came out really cute!
so.. now I have to make TWO diaper cakes... I've never made one before... I have to make one for my cousin and one for DHs cousin (shower on the same day).
I started last night... they aren't as easy as they seem!
