It is a battle with us too. Dh doesn't always have the patience especially when it is busy on the weekend. But If i go by myself I get just what is on the list not any of the 'extras: Dh wants but doesn't need. If he comes with me then he gets some of the extras so he joins me more now.

I have the opposite situation!
He likes going solo bc he eats really really healthy. He doesn't nessecarily mind going together but he'd just as well go solo.

I actually love going on my own and usually do coz DH is always working, but the days he is off and we have to go, he is happy to go with me, coz then he can pick out all the things he wants.

DH and I used to always argue about this UNTIL he started acting like an idiot in the supermarket to purposely embarrass me!! lol. He would be loud and obnoxious and I would be like 'OMG I am not with this moron...' and then we'd get into a fight in the car on the way home. I stopped asking him to come for a while after those few times, but lately he has been coming with me and has been acting normal, thank god lol

I like going alone because DH puts random stuff in our cart when he goes with me, and he tells me we neeeed that garbage .
