For the first time........

In 10 months of being married, DH FINALLY called me his WIFE.

Ok ok I know, ridiculous and totally cheesy, but if you know my DH you know he's NOT romantic or very heartfelt, lol. So last night he's saying goodnight to me and says 'Thank you for being an amazing wife and taking care of me.'

I absolutely melted, not because he was saying I'm amazing, but because he called me his WIFE. Since we've been married, he's still been calling me his girlfriend........he actually never even transformed into calling me his fiance. I'm always yelling at him 'You don't have a girlfriend!'

I just looked at him and said 'You called me your wife!!!!!' To which he quickly responded 'Don't get used to it'


Ok, that's my story for the day.......carry on

DH calls me his 'bride' ... so that sort of makes up for what he called me in private last week.

No, lol. He hasn't really had to introduce me to anyone since we've been married. Remember, we've been together for 11 years, so I pretty much know everyone he does lol.

The one time I did meet someone new, DH started saying 'this is my....' and FIL chimed in and said 'this is my daughter-in-law!'
