I am NOT in the mood for stupid people...

So Franky put me in a bad mood with our recent discussion of him going out on furlough (pretty much him telling me he wants to relax and not to give him a list of things to do). Then I get this phone call...

Me: (Company Name)
Man: Hello can I speak to (my boss)
Me: Who's Calling?
Man: Greg (mumbles company name)
Me: I'm sorry?
Man: Greg (again mumbles company name)
I tell my boss and he tells me to take a message

Me: I'm sorry sir, he's unavaliable, can I take a message?
Man: I want to know why I got legal papers and your suing everyone?
Me: O! You're going to have to call the main office for legal issues.
Man: I don't want to, I want to talk to (boss's name)
Me: I'm sorry sir, but he's unavaliable. Please let me take a message and he will call you back.
Man: I want to know about these legal papers.
Me: You have to call the main office about that, we have nothing to do with that.
Man: So you don't know what I'm talking about?
Me: If I did I wouldn't be able to help you, you'd have to call the main office.
Man: Spoke like a true lawyer!
(BTW I'm NOT a lawyer, I'm an admin for an electrical company)
Me: Sorry, can I take that message?
Man: I'll call (boss' name) back later.

And hung up! He had a thick Russian accent and I could barely understand him as it is. I told my boss and you know what my boss said 'HE HAS TO CALL THE MAIN OFFICE FOR LEGAL ISSUES!'

and over and over and over again!

I think I'm the last person that would know anything the company is doing. They don't ask us if they should sue someone!

I just don't get people who call! Like they don't think before the words come out.

Them: Can I talk to the owner?
Me: What is this regarding?
Them: Are you the owner?
Me: No, what is this regarding?
Them: Your company insurance, who am I speaking to?
Me: You have to call the main office
Them: But is the owner in?
At this point i just give them the main number and if they have time to write it down, they may be able to get the owner, if they didn't grab a pen, O WELL! They never seem to call back!
