I have to make a serious decision- Paris or Hawaii? DECISION MADE!!

So DH and I are planning our last hurrah before TTC. Here are two places we've always wanted to go to and the details:

Paris 6 nights
centrally located hotel
-Option to travel to another area of France- Normandy, Versailles, etc.

Paris Sightseeing Pass:
-Free entry to over 60 sights and attractions
-Free use of public transport within Paris Zones 1 - 3 (Metro and buses) for the validity of your pass
-A free full color guidebook in three languages
-Additional special offers and benefits at selected restaurants and shops
-Skip the queues with fast-track entry at many of the major sights,
including the Louvre, Pantheon, Arc de Triomphe, Musee d'Orsay, Centre
Pompidou and many more!

Hawaii- 6 nights
2 nights in Oahu- Aquos Hotel in Waikiki
Basically we will only have time to see Pearl Harbor

4 nights in Maui -Ka'anapali Beach Hotel which is rated 5 out of 30 hotels in Lahaina

The flights work out to be the same length (although the layover is different) and the price is the same. I know its really expensive in HI as it will be with the Euro in France, so I figure the price will even out??
eta I know they are two VERY different places but we would be happy with either. Our TA (travel tom, who is incredibly helpful) says that Europe is always easier to visit when we have kids- not that we'd be able to afford it!
What would you do?

UPDATE:
After MUCH back and forth, we decided on Paris!!!! And we are going to try to take a day trip to Amsterdam (even tho its kind of far) so I can get my straightlaced DH high!!! LOL!!!

My vote is Paris - I feel that later in life if you wanted to go with kids that Hawaii would be a better option than Paris as a family trip.

Also Paris is my #1 must see before TTC!

I would say Paris, simply because a lot of people do family trips to Hawaii...seems more family-friendly than Paris.

i think it depends if you want a relaxinging, loveydovey vacation...or a 'lets see the city'

Paris definitely! Its only 6 hours, and usually you can fly direct.

i say paris, but i'm also the type that would rather walk around a city than go relax on a beach!

ita, either you want to relax and beach or sightsee. personally, i'm a beach person so i would say hawaii.

Definitely this for sure. DH and I are more 'touristy' people, so I'd probably say Paris. I would also think Paris would be difficult with children, especially with the amount of sightseeing I'd want to do.

He just meant in terms of travelling around with strollers etc. Paris has the metro and paved streets etc, while HI is a lot of hiking, things like that.

i actually think hawaii is more 'family friendly' and easier to do with kids. i went to both as a child and looking back hawaii was definitely easier on my parents. resorts have pools, kids clubs, games etc. and paris is ALL walking/touristy stuff that kids can get bored with. do the city of romance now and hawaii when you have little ones!
