I'm annoyed.

I'm annoyed.

I've been ebaying a lot lately...

And I'm noticing that I've been charged a lot more for shipping than what the seller actually ends up paying to ship.

And they're things thrown in little envelopes... something came actually wrapped up in a paper grocery bag...

I mean -- things are like $2 here $2 there.

I had 4 things come in the mail just now and all were like this.

And I have more coming. That's like $10 extra I could have in my pocket.

Can I fight this?

Not sure if you can fight it...you can defintely give the seller some negative feedback on it. They might see it and agree to reimburse you.

I believe you can report sellers for excessive shipping.

You can also give them a low star rating when it comes to leaving feedback and if it's a low rating, ebay will ask you why and such.

They listed the shipping price in the actual listing? If so, then no, you can't fight it. I guess they are looking at it as a 'handling fee' kinda thing? But definitely mention it in the feedback.

I mean if shipping is listed as $4

And they were charged $1.55

And it's wrapped in a paper grocery bag -- as in they didn't go purchase a packing envelope.

... they just got an extra $2.50 out of me.

Times all the things I had delivered

Just playing devil's advocate- they could claim they had to travel to get to the post office and that takes time, effort, and gas. $2.45 of time, effort, and gas.

ETA: And is it one of those envelopes with the bubble wrap inside? They cost money, too.

No! It's literally a paper grocery bag... cut down and scotch taped closed.

That I would fight. That's ridiculous. Or maybe not fight it, but give them a bad rating and never buy from there again.

Double check the sellers shipping fees and rstes and what kind of shiiping you were charged for.. ie, if you paid for priority and it came to you in a brown bag. Some sellers do charge handling fees but there supposed to be clearly listed. Before you give negative feedback contact sellers they might credit you back the shipping difference . Most of time theyll.work with you to avoid being negg'd. I sell on ebay sometimes and it sucks when you dont get the chance to resolve, your other route is go to ebay n get them on excessive shipping

I wrote the seller directly.

I don't have a problem if it was paid to get here super fast and super safely.

My annoyance is with the fact that its IN A GROCERY BAG.
