i went to the diner with DH after my epidural this morning, and I ordered a large orange juice with my eggs and bacon, we get the bill, and it says a large orange juice was $3.95.
what the eff man.
this is Lake grove diner by the way.

a while ago, I ordered an egg sandwich, they tried to charge me $8 for it, I complained of course, saying a deli charges half of that. I didn't get potatoes, i got eggs and bacon and a roll...$8?
I should have known better not to go back.

Diners are freakin expensive! I dont even bother going anymore- IHOP is better anyway!

yeah don't make me feel worse lol. DH kept saying that to me the whole way home....we pulled into IHOP too and the line was out the door and he didn't wanna wait.

The deli downstairs from my job charges $3.95 for a cup of OJ too.
