So I have a lot going on right now and am in my last semester of grad school. I have been very stressed and anxious lately and overwhelmed with everything. I have had trouble sleeping for the past few days and need to get some sleep tonite. I went to rite aid before and the pharmacist suggested unisom- has anyone else taken that? I feel like I have tried tylenol pm, nyquil, simply sleep, melatonin and nothing works. It's very frustrating. TIA!

Re: OTC sleep meds??
sorry to crash..... plain old benadryl-- it actually has the same ingredients as the unisom sleepmelts (diphenhydramine) just two tablets like 20-30 minutes before bed and you sleep SOUNDLY through the night you just have to make sure its the original benadryl... they're mini hot pink tablets HTH

DH ALWAYS has to take something to help him sleep. He takes Benedryl usually but on rough nights (where he napped for too long after work) he's taken unisom. DEF works! Hope you get some sleep!
