V-Day plans

What is everyone doing?

DH and I aren't super into V-Day. We are going to order a pizza and watch a romantic movie. Just enough for me. :)

Making DH fajitas

We went out Sat. night to the Old Country Buffet..very classy.

I have school tonight until 9 and won't be home until 10. We aren't big v-day people either but it is always nice to at least be with the one you <3love<3....

We cleaned the apartment for 5 hours yesterday...literally....and then went food shopping! Not so romantic but we both love coming home to a clean apartment and things really built up with both of us working full time and going to school at night.

we arent much into Vday either. I am making DH dinner and opening a bottle of wine we brought home from our HM.

This weekend coming up is our engag-iversary so we are going out to celebrate that on Friday.

I have to work late tonight, so we did v-day on Friday. DH sent 4 dozen roses to me at work and surprised me with dinner reservations at Legal Seafood

We did our celebration Saturday evening while DD was out with her dad. We had appetizer and an entree from Uncle Guispees(It was great...No one had to cook!). And we had Champange and chocolate covered Strawberries for dessert. Yum

I actually called in to work today. Not for any special reason, I just didn't feel like going. Yay for hookey!

DH and I are just watching movies. Since I'm home, I'll probably cook for him.

ETA: DH just came home sick from work, too.

DH is working... so I'll be going to WW and then just home to watch TV.

We are going to go to dinner on Thursday when he is off.

We're not doing anything today, but this weekend he is taking me to Carnivale in Downtown Chicago! I cannot wait..I have been dying to try this place!!!

i cooked up a storm this weekend!!

DH has pitchers and catchers tonight with his high school baseball team - so he won't be home till 10:30. So it's me all by my little self probably cleaning and doing laundry.

We went to Ruth Chris last night for our Vday dinner. I was waiting for someone to propose...but didn't see any

i was hoping he'd have something planned, but he told me he didnt... doesn't surprise me much, we're not that into v-day. i think this is the first year we've bought each other gifts (not just a card and candy) but we exchanged last week....
but we might have to go to a wake tonight... so... i dont know.

We are going to SD's neurologist appointment and then probably getting takeout. Very romantic.

well i didnt do food shopping this wknd, so probably no gourmet dinner (was originally planning on making DH pork chops in the slow cooker)

yesterday we celebrated by going out to eat , shopping at ikea (yay!), and hitting the mall.

DH was soooo sweet. he was planning on gettin me a pair of uggs, since i wanted them around cmas time. so he walked me into bloomies and asked me what i like. he was SOOO CUTE. cuz he did the reasearch, and started telling me about the real lambskin and they are better than EMUs. haha. so freakin adorable.

but i turned it down (), bc at the moment im over the ugg craze, ever since i bought my vans. so i told him not to bother.

he seemed kinda disappointed, and i was really surprised he was willing to spend that much on a vday gift! (my gift was dinner and litte trinkets, like CDs, etc)

then we went jewelry shopping. but didnt buy anything

not sure whats in store for tonight, since he may have to work late.

Don't have any V-Day plans, coz DH says VD is everyday for us...

Since I just got a new stove and broke it in yesterday, it will be a miracle if we go out. DH was still sleeping this morning when I left for work, so he sleepily told me that he will call me in the afternoon to discuss what we are doing.

I most likely will cook at home and just watch movies. But I am secretly wishing he surprises me with something.
