First step..... Bought unfinished wooden planter style # 585616448 from AC Moore for $9. Stained all the wood (including bottom and top supports) Inserted and glued wood for bottom and top. Also Inserted small pieces of wood inside to hold lid up. Covered top (need to be really careful doing this as ours is too tight, so tight I can barely get it in). Routed out our initial with a dremel.
