DIY wedding album layouts....
hi girls...sorry this is so longwinded! has anyone dared to do their own wedding album. we spent almost 4k on the photographer so far, and an album package would be at least another 1200.... we'd rather put that towards a house, if you know what I mean
For my b'day, DH got me this gorgeous ivory wedding album from aspinal of london. I would like to put in the pics using traditional photocorners (silver, acid-free and self-adhesive). To save $$$$, we will not get too many enlargements. we'll get a few, and fill the rest of the album with a selection of the over 1k proofs we received
ANYWHO..... does anyone have either a link, or some of their own words of wisdom on a layout? it would be soooooo appreciated...
Thanks!

Re: DIY wedding album layouts....
hmm.. i dont' have too much advice. but if u'r photo proofs will come on disk u can play around with some of the online layout first. so u can see how it's look.. i did a book with mypublisher.com and it came back beautiful.. or if u have a mac or access to one u can u iphoto.. u can design the book and then u'll know how u want the pics to look when u move them around in u'r actual album..

Re: DIY wedding album layouts....
actually, our photographer uses old-school techniques, so no CD or files to work with..... just hard copy proofs....HOWEVER, our friends took some really good pics too, and they're digital. I'm pretty good with photoshop, and already corrected all red eye, pimples, make-up smears on those pics. I'll print those out on our good printer in the lab... I'm just a bit
about layouts.... I don't want it to be boring, but I also don't want it to look too fussy. I wish I could get back into highschool yearbook mode
I'll definitely look into mypubisher.com..... thanks!
