Hi everyone!!!
We did it!!!! Yesterday wss great. Truly an amazing party. We did have a few snafus, both big and small (such as the chuppah done incorrectly but fixed immediately.) Our big snafu was a bridesmaid passing out in the middle of our ceremony! I almost died! But she was ok and the show went on, and the party was INCREDIBLE! food, amazing. band, amazing. At least a dozen people said best wedding they have ever been to! Quick review of key vendors:
Hair: Beautiful Brides by Lauren - A
Lauren was very nice, but didn't bring an assistant as was initially agreed upon so we ran way over finishing the girls. Everyone's hair looked amazing and only mine fell (but I wore it down in curls and spent 2 hours taking outdoor photos). Would definitely recommend her but if you have more than 4 girls insist on an assistant!
Makeup: Stacy Doolan About Face Artistry - A+
AMAZING! sooooo nice, efficient, helpful, and every single girl looked radiant. MY makeup lasted all night and into today! The BM who passed out still looked perfect AFTER fainting!!
Venue: Manhattan Penthouse- B+
Day-of food and waitstaff service were great, but had some issues leading up to day-of which will get into at a later time
Band- Hank Lane Pete Saunders - A+++
UNREAL! The dance floor was packed all night, they did everything perfectly times 100000000
Photog: Jessica Guadagno Photo- A+++
Jess and her husband Aaron are incredible. Spent all day with us, trapised through the park for an hour with us, they felt like old friends, they were everywhere all night and made sure to stay on time and get all my must-takes. I can't WAIT to see my photos!
Planner and Florist: Erganic Design- A
Amazing team, love them. My flowers were TO DIE FOR and they were all sooo sweet. It was a big team (5 ladies) so my only issue was a bit of disorganization the day-of but things were smoothed over easily enough
and of course...Weather- A+++
In mid-november it was 62 and sunny. AMAZING!
