Initial meeting with Keith from NY Marriages to go over ceremony details.
Wedding Ceremony on your wedding day (max of 1 hour)
To enter all you have to do is reply to this post and tell us what special touch you want to include in your ceremony. An extra entry if you post a picture as well. Also please include your wedding date.
Whether your wedding is an intimate celebration between you, your significant other, and a handful of guests or a gathering of your 'closest' four hundred friends and family, NY Marriages can accommodate you with their hands-on approach and flexible ceremony plans. New York Justice of the Peace, NY Wedding Officiant of New York Marriages.
You have until midnight on November 7th to enter. Winner will be announced the following week.

It is important for my Fiance and I to have a ceremony centered around us, around the promises we are making each other, and to not be a generic ceremony devoid of personalization. We want our unity ceremony to include a 'unity tree' which will be a tree with everyone's fingerprints on it that we add our too to seal us as one big family.But also we are not super serious people, so a few laughs and a quick ceremony would be great!

My FH and I are looking for a ceremony that reflects us....full of love and laughs. Nothing too religious...my FH is Jewish and I am Methodist so we want some interfaith elements like breaking the glass but no readings or prayers. And we also would like to write our own vows. I have been struggling with trying to write our ceremony myself, as we wanted it to be personalized and reflect our personalities and relationship as much as possible. However, we recently lost our officiant, so it would be awesome to have a professional step in and help us develop a meaningful, non-cheesy ceremony. FH has Irish and Scottish lineage, so I thought it would be special to include a handfasting ceremony as part of our day. It would look something like the picture below and essentially we would have a ribbon for each of our vows added to our hands as we speak the vows, then tied at the end, binding us literally and spiritually. The tied ribbon would be a keepsake for us to remember our vows.

My fiancé and I are looking for a ceremony to basically just reflect on our personalities and the love we have for one another. Neither of us are very Religious, and we were both raised different religions (I was raised Roman Catholic, he was Christian). We would want someone down to earth, with a sense of humor. We have been together since we were 14 (on and off through the years) so I would also really love to have that in the ceremony. Someone that everyone could relate to and feel comfortable with.

My fiance and I are looking forward to sharing our special day with close friends and family. Everyone that will be there has influenced our relationship in one way or another. There is never really an opportunity to have all those people in one room together, until now. The ceremony will be a great moment to share with them as a thank you for their love and support. Our wedding is on 6/8/14.I have spoken with Keith over the phone and actually have an appointment with him later today. He sounds like a great match for us and we are looking forward to meeting him.

We are looking to have a ceremony that reflects who we are as a couple now and how we want to grow. A light ceremony performed with both a sense of humor and some seriousness. We haven't chosen a specific wedding date as of yet, but it will be sometime in 2015. I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life with my best friend and having our families become friends as well. Definitely, something with love, laughter and tears of happiness.....and uses a sign like this :)
