Where did you get them from? And approx. how much did they cost? Did you put on your own labels or just leave the original vineyard labels?
(I tried to do a search on this but only got 4 posts back.)

Re: Wine favors?
We gave out full sized bottles of wine from Pindar. We bought them from the Pindar store in Port Jeff - I think JennRenee referred me - and we ordered personalized labels across the street from And I Quote. I have to say, the staff at both stores wasn't the friendliest, but we received a 20% (or 25%?) discount on the wine, so that was really good.
These labels sat above the brand label - I have a pic: we bought clear bags separately and wrapped each one - but Pindar wraps them for you for free!
They were a big success at the wedding - everyone loved them.
I got mini bottles of Korbel Champagne for $1.50 a piece

Re: Wine favors?
Hey that is what we are doing too! Are there any places online that do the labels (I don't live in NY)? Alternately, what do you think about buying blank labels at a place like Staples and laser printing on a nicely designed wording I do on the computer?
I am also getting full-sized bottles, but mine are from Banfi in Old Brookville. Planning to do one per couple. Teri, did you put them on the tables every other seat or on a separate table? We were thinking about maybe even tieing the placecards to them and having people pick them up when they come in...thoughts??

Re: Wine favors?
Alison - this was SUCH an issue with my mom and I!! Long story short, I, and everyone else thought it should be 1 bottle per couple. My mom insisted on 1 per person, so she won (and paid for the difference!)
You could definitely buy the labels online, and put them on yourself - just be sure that the labels aren't too big, since the neck's of the bottles aren't too large. We had 2 labels on each bottle - on the front, it had our names and date, and on the back it said 'Thanks for sharing in our special day'
I considered doubling them as placecards, but then pictured them in the way on the tables, or worse - rolling around on the floor all night from guests putting them on the floor or something.
Since they would have been too cluttered on the tables, we had them lined up on the placecard table, for everyone to take as they were leaving. The only problem was that not everyone realized it was 1 per person, so we had a lot left over. I guess it was better than running out though!

Re: Wine favors?
I agree with AlisonMT, I think these can be done on the printer, or you could get card stock, and punch a hole in it and tie it together with ribbon
Just an idea

Ditto to everything Teri said. The attitudes at And I Quote were the WORST, but the favors were beautiful and wll worth it.

Re: Wine favors?
We gave out full pindar wine bottles like Teri. There was a print shop across the street to get labels and they send them to the wine store. I got the bottles in Port Jefferson. We put the bottles on a table and when everyone left they were handed a bottle. It was supposed to be one bottle per couple, but some couples left with two bottles. What can you do. We originally were going to put them on the tables but the matred thought it might take from the centerpiece.

Re: Wine favors?
Cindy, we did one per couple as well, but some times people don't realize it. We used Pindar's 4 seasons wine and Patrick's grandfather walked out with 4 bottles, 1 for each season!

Re: Wine favors?
Jenn...I remember you had all four seasons. That is so funny that he left with all four seasons. Do you still have any? We never saved any to keep and my mom gave me hers.

Re: Wine favors?
We have none left, and the same us you... my mom gave us hers. My sister also never got one, so I took one of our extra labels, went to the liquor store, bought a bottle, stuck it on and gave it to her.
